Our initial focus on delivering the Zenulta solution into the Telecoms environment will bring great benefits to that sector, though we will be looking to other sectors as we evolve.
Today, we are working with two early adopter Network Operators, implementing our Enterprise Correlation Solution in the ‘Network and Service Management’ arena. In this arena, time-based enterprise correlation over a small hardware footprint is crucial.
Sophisticated capabilities
Driven by the different technologies involved – such as radio, transmission (SDH, DWDM, PDH, IP etc service platforms) – messages/events are delivered in real-time directly from the telecoms elements (or their managers) via a combination of management systems. We then have the capability to add the following data sources:
- Statistics data processed in 5 minute to one-hourly intervals
- Probe data processed in 15 minute intervals
- Billing data processed and delivered after a couple of hours
- SLA thresholds measured over periods between hours to several months
- Customer call information, based on incidents of between minutes to months
You can also add to that the requirement of correlation at the different Network Management layers:
- Element - Element manager
- Sub-Network manager
- Network
- Service
- Business
These are all in the classic domain that Zenulta’s solution has been created to resolve. In accordance with the strong standards which have evolved in this arena, Zenulta’s interfaces are based on OSS/J (with individual product interfaces available from the Zenulta core library).

“All correlations will be built and maintained in a centrally controlled "Zenulta" library, so that customers will be able to buy tried and tested scenarios already proven in other telco networks. Combined with the flexibility of our CrossTalk OSS/J adaptor, this ensures a quick and successful delivery which endorses our reputation with our end customers.”
